PCC " Red Rocket" 1947
In the early 1930's public transit companies across North America were feeling the effects of the automobile with ridership decreasing everywhere. To lure passengers back the sleek and elegant Presidents Conference Committee Car was introduced. Toronto in particular embraced the PCC and boasted the largest fleet of "Red Rockets" in the world.

This 4" x 6" image is framed between glass with a handcrafted silver solder frame. Dark patina is added and it is then buffed to a high shine.
A TRC with a Peter Witt and any one of the Red Rockets make a great set.
