About

Dustin Kroft started his professional career in the service business. Kroft, an architecture buff and creative thinker, had an aching feeling that something was amiss in his work life. The timing of the sale of his first business coincided with an academic and personal pursuit of fine furniture making and design and so his new venture was formed. Risking everything, he knew that his passion for the craft and good design could be leaned on as he started a new business from scratch.

After setting up shop and finding accomplished furniture makers to join his team, Kroft set out to build a furniture brand that would make accessibility its core objective. Knowing he didn't want to (and couldn't) compete with the large economy manufacturers, he made a decision to focus on designing products that were super functional, incredibly well built and designed in a way that they would never go out of style.

Today, KROFT is a thriving local manufacturer that works hard to stay true to these roots. Their goal is to design and build things slow enough that our customers will be able to appreciate the difference, but fast enough that we can offer quick lead times and new products that make life more enjoyable

Shipping Policy

Shipping

Shipping rates are for Canada only. Please contact us at hello@kroft.co if you would like to arrange for shipping outside of Canada. Lead times on orders are listed on each product listing. Many of our items ship within 3 business days but we are a small batch operation and sometimes we require a little more time to prepare and ship your order. We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or on holidays. Please allow 10-15 days for your order to arrive as most of our shipping is arranged with economy or ground service. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. Send an e-mail to hello@kroft.co for more info on rates and delivery options. KROFT is not responsible for service transit times.

Returns & Exchanges

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible please contact us at hello@kroft.co as soon as you can to register a return. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We must also receive the product back in the original packaging. We do not accept any returns or exchanges on any items that have been modified, on sale or custom ordered. If the item is being returned as a result of you not being available to receive the item at the time of delivery(ies), the cost of shipment will be deducted from your return.

You will be responsible for arranging for and paying for your own shipping costs when returning your item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. All returns are subject to a $50 restocking fee. Any damage to your product will result in us not being able to refund your purchase.

Cancelled Orders

WHILE WE DO ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS, WE DO CHARGE A $35 ADMINISTRATION FEE ON ALL CANCELLATIONS SUBMITTED MORE THAN TWO BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PURCHASE.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a your refund will be processed, and a refund will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Damages

Any damage claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of an item. Please inspect your items immediately for damages and contact us for a return authorization number and a replacement order.
