Niconico came about following a trip to Madagascar. I met locals playing in the street with a top propelling marbles. The idea to create board games of wood came from this encounter adn is at the origin of the first game of the collection: the Hadz game. This was the beginning of a passion, which became my profession.
Niconico's design and manufacturing of wooden games' workshop promotes fun thru play by creating games for children and adults who love having fun.
Niconico's mission is to offer aesthetic games made of wood, of superior quality that are simple and fun.
Research is the basis of the fabrication process of the Niconico games. My inspiration draws from age-old or rallying games, originating from the four corners of the world. In order to highlight the woods veining and lustre, I give special attention to the finish and choose native species and local suppliers.
Wood, wood and... wood!
The games of the Niconico Collection are all made according to traditional artisanal methods. Variations in size, colour, veining or knots in the wood are inherent. These différences depend on the species of the wood selected and cannot be considered in any way a defect in the fabrication.
Shipping is done by regular Canada Post for Canadian adresses exclusively. For delivery outside of Canada, please contact us before placing your order to enquire on additional shipping costs.
Reception of an order normally takes from ten to twenty working days.Niconico is not responsible for any delay in delivery on behalf of the carrier.
Reimbursement is not possible on items sold. However, if you are not satified or wish an exchange upon reception, you may return articles in their original packaging within 10 days of reception.
We will exchange the returned item for one of equivalent or higher value upon reception (payment of the difference if applicable).
If returned articles are damaged, soiled or incomplete an exchange will be denied.
The client is entirely responsible for shipping costs of returned items.
